Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026-08-22

These terms are the agreement between you and Aviora, operated by Quan Gu ("we") for your use of Aviora. Using the service means you accept them.

1. What Aviora is

Aviora is a personal health record tool. You upload lab reports or medical documents; it extracts the values, codes them to medical standards, and organises them into a searchable timeline you can read yourself or hand to a clinician.

2. What Aviora is not

Aviora does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice or prescriptions, and is not a substitute for a doctor.

Reference ranges, abnormal flags and AI interpretations shown in the app are for information only. They may not apply to your circumstances and may be inaccurate where a laboratory uses a different assay or method. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical decision. In an emergency, seek immediate medical care.

3. Your account

Some features require an account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Registration details should be accurate and kept up to date.

4. Your data is yours to keep

Aviora is local-first: your health records are stored in the browser on your own device.

Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app, or switching devices will permanently lose those records, and we cannot recover them for you.

Export an encrypted backup regularly. If you enable cloud backup, the contents are end-to-end encrypted with a password only you hold — lose the password and the backup cannot be recovered. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload another person's medical records without the right to do so
  • Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, disrupt the service, or circumvent usage limits
  • Use the service unlawfully or in a way that infringes others' rights

6. Subscriptions and payment

Aviora currently charges nothing, and subscriptions are not open for purchase.

If paid features are introduced later, payment, invoicing and tax will be handled by a third-party payment provider and these terms will be updated to name it. The Refund Policy sets out what would apply.

7. Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue features. For significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to give notice. The service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of data, or medical outcomes arising from use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid in the preceding 12 months.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
